The weather outside is GLORIOUS. We have played outside as much as possible.
We had a refreshing, uplifting, Christ centered morning at CTK. Abigail is back to loving being in the nursery(after a brief(all summer) stint of tears and screaming) and when I bring her back into the sanctuary for communion, she spies Jim sitting at the piano and has to shout at the top of her voice “DADA!!!” and wave and wave. So sweet. But, so distracting.
Love you sweet one.
Abigail has a bit of yucky nose, which is never fun, but even dealing with that we were still able to have a fun day.
Dada raced home from church to turn on the Chiefs game. Before lunch, Dad and Daughter got to soak up a bit of the game together(before it turned ugly, sigh).
Oh. If I could just freeze time. If I could bottle it up and savor it forever, it would be moments like this.
I think every Mama has a love/hate relationship with sickness. We don’t want our babies to not feel good for even a nanosecond, but the snuggles. You just never get the same type of snuggles when they feel good.
This one was from Saturday’s trip to our neighborhood park, but it was so cute I had to include it!
Rollin in the cart at Lowe’s
Dada found a way to make our home improvement trip girly. Nice work, papa!
As a “reward” for being so awesome during our Lowes trip(Mom or Abigail? I’ll never tell), we stopped next door and ate at McAlister’s. In this picture, Daddy is trading bites of Marble Pound Cake for kisses : )
On our way home we had an impromtu stop at the CJ park, where we played for a LONG time. Swinging, sliding, stair and ladder climbing. So much fun.
We capped off our evening with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and a bath.
Now the little one is asleep(praying her stuffy nose doesn’t bother her tonight) I’m updating this, Jim is in the backyard attempting to film himself cutting off his own head(don’t ask, we’ll all know soon enough), and after we’re both done we’re going to have a movie night!
