One of the bigger aspects of my personality that I could have listed in my “about me” section would be something along the lines of “hates outdoors”, or rather, “loves indoors.”
You just seem like, you know, kind of an indoor girl.
Jim laughed at me for 5 minutes straight the other day because he heard me telling Abigail that “the snow is perfect for looking at from our windows”
So, today when we got a few inches of snow and Grammy volunteered to take Abigail out in it to make a “Frosty snowman!” I cheerfully volunteered to be the photographer.
It was a decent compromise. Considering I hate almost everything about the snow, but I still got to enjoy watching my little one be enthralled by it.
Working on their snowman. I don’t have lots of experience with snow, but from my observations, this was super de duper perfect snowman making snow.
Initially, Mom uttered a few “She is soooo your daughter” comments, because she would get fairly worked up when she fell down and got snow on her. But, eventually more of her daddy came out and she had fun playing and walking and falling into the snow.
The finished product!
The green bean mouth kind of turned into a green bean moustache. Oh well, Jim will be pleased.
Also pictured, Abigail’s favorite part of playing outside in the snow. Eating it.
