The blog has been pretty quiet the last few days because we have been busy enjoying wonderful time with Jim’s family at a timeshare in Branson, MO for a long weekend. We got here on Wednesday and will be home tomorrow. It has been a lovely visit!
Abigail and her cousin, David,(who is 9 months older than her) spent a morning baking pumpkin spice muffins together with Aunt Brittainy and Grandma Jenny.
Grandma Jenny & Grandpa Monty with their three grandbabies. David, Abigail, & Baby Kathryn. (Who was in Aunt Brittainy’s tummy at Thanksgiving last year. You can see that post, here)
These two are peas in a pod. They play together so nicely and are so much fun to watch together.
I’ll also have everyone know that I am strongly Team LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS. Unfortunately, this tunic is a bit shorter than the last time Abigail wore it. Oops. Apparently a growth spurt happened between wears.
Sometimes the only way to get good smiles for a picture are to tickle them out.
Aunt Brittainy made Abigail a really sweet birthday gift. Her very own bean bag toss game!
Lots of books were read this week. One of Abigail’s favorites was this one:
We also had a little 1st birthday celebration for Baby Kathryn. Abigail and David had a lot of fun decorating the table cloth with stickers and crayons for us.
Grandma Jenny also brought this fun little craft for the kiddos to do together.
Don’t they look so handsome in their cute little headbands?
A bit more reading with Grandpa Monty. The Angus books are some more favorites!
And finally, coordinating cousin PJ pictures 🙂 It took some planning out, but we finally got the picture taken! Aren’t they the sweetest?
We had such a special Thanksgiving filled with lots of family, food(OH the food. I haven’t felt the slightest twinge of hunger for DAYS), and most importantly, love.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever!”
