We were able to escape town this weekend before the snow hit{blahhhh snow} to drive to Jim’s parents house to celebrate Christmas with his family. It felt like an absolute whirlwind of a weekend.
We celebrated Christmas on Friday night, took Miss Abigail to see Frozen in 3d{!!} on Saturday morning, and then she woke up sick that afternoon. Boo! We missed church Sunday morning because of it and took it easy Sunday afternoon and evening before heading back home.
Therefore, A and I have been snowed in and dealing with her sickness for the past two days. No fun for anybody! So, for now, let us relive the fun evening we had celebrating Christmas on Friday night 🙂
Wonderful gifts were exchanged, books and Luke 2 were read, songs were sung, pictures were taken, happiness and love were shared by all of us.
Christmas 2013….and the first weekend of 2014….you were very good to us.
I hate that your little one is sick, that makes it hard on everyone. Looks like Christmas was fun though! I hope she feels better soon! http://www.bigbowsandbaseballs.blogspot.com
Thank you so much, Brooke! Thankfully, her fever broke last night and now we're just dealing with a yucky nose and throat. I'm hoping we'll be back to 100% in the next day or two!
Thank you! Actually, I ended up returning these ones{I have the non stick Cuisinart pots/pans}. My mom got me a set of stainless also, but with stainless lids. I needed new pots and pans for Christmas because Jim and I have literally smashed and broken every single lid to all of our pots. I figured stainless lids were a safer choice for us, ha!
ha. it looks like everyone LOOOOOOOVED their presents. snow day AND sickness = cabin fever. I hope she starts feeling better AND that the weather warms ASAP!

It's 100 times hilarious and fantastic when I see you make faces that I've seen your Abigail make! 😀
Ha! Well, since I'm the only face she stares at all day long I suppose we're bound to make a few of the same ones :p
Great pics! I have those pans and I Love them!

Aw, such sweet pictures! Looks like a wonderful night–and I'm so glad Miss Abigail is starting to feel better. Snow + sickness = zero fun! 🙁
