Whoa, it’s Friday? Where have I been this week? Anyway, after a week full of all sorts of fun and busy stuff here we are! 5 random and brilliant thoughts headed right atcha.
{ONE}
Just a brief PSA to all of my most wonderful blog readers. I mentioned this on my FB page yesterday, but wanted to make sure that it floated on over here as well! I only reply to my blog comments via email. It keeps everything in one place for me and is something I can quickly respond to throughout a day! If you have been commenting here and not getting a reply, OR, if you comment on other blogs and notice that the blogger just never seems to respond to you, then you are more than likely a NO reply comment blogger. That is no good!! I used to be one too and had no idea until someone pointed it out to me.
Once I made a quick fix to my blogger settings an entire new world was opened up to me! Bloggers that I thought were blowing me off never, ever were. Their emails were just flying off into no man’s land because I didn’t have my settings adjusted properly.
I can’t wait to email back and forth with some of you!! 🙂

I received my second influenster box this week and it was great!!!
Portable Neosporin and Kleenex to keep in my purse, some makeup, some of the exact soap I use in my laundry detergent recipe, and {not shown} a coupon for a free tub of Breyer’s gelato. You can betcha we hit up the store ASAP to redeem that bad boy. We chose tiramisu and gobbled it up shamefully fast.
Thanks, influenster for a great box!

I know I’ve mentioned quite a bit about how Abigail is just not really into crafts. I’ve tried to get her into them over and over but it just really isn’t her thing.
Until.
All of a sudden she figured out how to doodle and draw.
The girl is obsessed. She spends all day long drawing. She drew for an hour and a half when we drove to the zoo this week. She stands at her easel and colors for hours. Drawing faces over and over and over. Plus, while they’re kind of on the creepy side, I still think they’re totally awesome and I’m a proud mama!
Are your eyes drawn to that word? Yes? yes?
Abigail spelled her very first word! We’re so proud.
No really. She was practicing writing her letters. She wrote two T’s. We cheered, yay! Abigail! That’s great! and then she said, “Now I’m going to draw an i!” Put it right between the T’s.
And because we’re awesome parents we couldn’t stop laughing and I immediately instagrammed it. #homeschoolmom

We had our first open house this Sunday{it went well! but, no offers. #sadtrombone}, right smack during Abigail’s nap time. We stayed at a friends house after church and then drove leisurely home.
Of course, she fell asleep in the car.
This picture is photographic evidence of the elusive sleeping car transfer. I plopped her into bed with me and we rested for an hour or so. It. was. awesome.
HAHA! I love the first word! So funny… I hope I'm not a no-reply blogger. I often check to see that I'm not! It's so frustrating when it reverts back because I love connecting with new people!
A's drawing are AMAZING!!! seriously- they have faces and limbs (which is way better than my niece who draws private parts on hers. lines for boys and circles for girls.).
Ah, I finally just figured out that I was a no reply blogger this week and finally fixed it! Whoop! Whoop! And Abagail's first word…… Dear goodness, I snorted out loud when I read that. So thanks for making my day 🙂
Oh my gosh I am cracking up about your #4!! The creepy comment and the first word. You're hilarious! I love that she's drawing now 🙂 I'd be so proud too! Have a great weekend, Courtney!
GO ABIGAIL! Seriously, I love it. I giggled. Took me back to the times of teaching kinder and taking pictures of silly things kids accidentally spelled. Oh Lordy! 🙂 xx
Way to go, Abigail!!! That gave me a good belly laugh 🙂 We were so bummed when we didn't get any offer after our first open house too–but don't worry, it'll happen fast! Happy weekend!!!!
OMG. Hilarious. Her drawing is too cute but then how she wrote the 2 T's and then… the I right in the middle. And she will never know why mom and dad were laughing so hard! I showed my husband and he said "well at least she knows how to spell correctly". Haha, yes, yes she does! 🙂
hey gal! i am contacting people that linked up in the last 5 on friday linkup…that has since been put on hold for the summer. well…if you were interested, a friend of mine and i are starting it back up! the first one will be live this friday morning! prepare your post! 🙂 it's going to be called "oh hey, friday!" it'll be the exact same rules. write about five anythings. hope to see you there!

Haha idk why but sadtrombone had me laughing way too long. Can't say I've ever heard that one.
I love the doodles! It took me forever to find that first word though. Too funny though. Excellent placement I think

Oh my gosh so stinking funny, that picture is the best and someday a long ways off she will find it very, very amusing.
