We spent an evening with my in-laws on Saturday after Cameron’s wedding festivities. Before we left, we had a card Jenny wanted us to sign so I held the paper while Abigail wrote out her signature. She sent me this picture while we were driving home.
I had a few thoughts about it.
My first thought was, “Holy cow. I have the teacher/homeschooling mom pose down pat.”
My next thought was, “When did I get so old??”
My last thought was, “I really need to wash that hair.”
But really, all of that to say, I can’t believe Abigail and I are going to be embarking on this homeschooling thing this fall. I’ve been researching some curriculum and plan to get things in order to start at the beginning of September for a fun and laid back Pre-K year. If nothing else, at least I look like I know what I’m doing.
And she can sign her name. Like this:
AbIgAIL.
It’s really the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.
How is back to school{or in our case, starting school for the first time ever} going in your casa?
Ooh, good luck! I am a momma of an infant, but Nanny for 3 school age girls! My oldest are going into 6th! I can't believe it! Would love to hear your homeschooling ideas to put away for the future! I was a Elementary Ed major, but plan on staying home with my little one!
My sister does the Classical Christian Homeschool Curriculum and loves it. My nephew is 10 and has been learning Latin for a few years now. It's amazing! You should check it out. The program includes bible, too, which is really neat.
I love that picture! I have had a lot of those moments recently, too! Crazy!
Such a swet pic – and good for you, mama!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And 90% of the thing is looking like you know what you are doing!
