After Uncle Cameron’s wedding, this dress was worn 24/7. No lie. First thing every morning for DAYS after the wedding. I’ve got the pictures to prove it. It’s all she wanted to wear.
But really, who can blame her. It’s an awesome, poofy, twirly dress.
Went into Target for trash bags.
Came out with some new candles and $1 bin school supplies.
Oops.
Last week we headed to one of our local swimming pools for half price family swim night!! Abigail wasn’t excited in the slightest….obviously.
This picture is particularly amazing because Abigail paused mid-cry to smile for the camera. Lightning had just been spotted so they made us all get out of the pool. Major bummer!
One of my biggest parenting revelations was the wonder of warnings- last time down the slide, five more minutes, etc. When that is suddenly removed it is really hard!
Anyway, super cute family pic though right?
Father of the year award goes to this guy.
Have you ever tried to pull a wagon around on the grass? SUPER HARD.
Anything to keep the little princess happy and all that.
A recent Abigail drawing.
I know.
I KNOW.
Now, listen, it isn’t *quite* what you think it is because we surprisingly have NOT had the P-E-N-I-S talk in this house yet…..there really hasn’t been a reason to bring it up at this point….ANYWAY, she told me this was her person’s bottom so that it could “pee and poop”.
I don’t know about your kids, but this one talks about it all the time. I had to finally make a rule that confined any and all bathroom talk to the BATHROOM and now when we go in there to use it, it’s like a flood of all the potty jokes she’s been holding back all day.
I swear to you, she’ll just be sitting there saying poopy and pee pee and wee wee and laughing and thinking of all the different words she knows and says them just because she’s sitting on the toilet.
Moving on.

I love that she wears her dress all of the time. I'm sure my daughter will do the same once my sister's wedding is over. I mean, who wouldn't want to? Those dresses are awesome!
I loooove snap chat!! Be my buddy erinvanvan
haha i have heard about the no smiling thing, i'm from Aus and we have never been allowed to smile, and your ears have to be showing (no hair in front) so it shows the shape of your face better. seriously, so silly and a pain in the butt!
I lovet this post! That drawing and the potty jokes….too funny!
Can't wait for my little one to find a favorite outfit! My mom said there was a dress that I wore every day for weeks!
Love it and wish the lady at the post office where I went let me smile!!!
That drawing, is perfection 😉 have you come across those websites that you can send your childs drawing in and they will send you a stuffed animal that looks like the drawing.. I'm laughing thinking about what the stuffed animal version of her drawing would look like!
We love snapchat over here too. Something about it is just oh so addicting!
Holy cow, I almost fell off my chair laughing so hard envisioning a stuffed animal of that drawing.
First, grass pushing is the worst. When Aria got her little push car for her bday we would take that sucker out daily and push it around the grass. Arm workout. Now we usually take it around the neighborhood. Second, that is too funny that she hit pause on the sad to smile for the camera – the show must go on! Third, ha I had no idea the bathroom jokes were like legit. I've heard of that rule before, but I kind of that it was more a boy thing.
Fun post!
I love that easel Abigail has. And I thought I was the only one who didn't have my passport. Such an exciting trip coming up!
Girl, I didn't even know what snapchat was until recently! I don't think I'm that old (30 in sept eeekkk!) but I had no idea what it was until the youngins at my work explained it to me! Haha
