Saturday morning Abigail was packed and ready to go first thing. She had her snacks packed in her backpack and most of her stuffed animals packed into her suitcase(because OBVIOUSLY I hadn’t packed yet) We left our house at noon, I finished packing around 11. So, go team!
(I was packing for myself clothes for Phoenix weather, Croatia weather, Rome weather, and clothes that currently fit…which aren’t many. So yeah, I definitely felt like procrastinating packing this time.)
We made it to KCI about an hour before boarding and walked into a mass of people needing to check in with bags. ACK. Thanks to my brother, he came and got my car so that we didn’t have to pay for weeks of airport parking and he lent me a twenty so we could do skycap instead of waiting in the ginormous line inside.
Grown up brothers. They’re good to have around!
Our plane ended up boarding late(partly due to the massive amount of wheelchairs unloading from the previous Orlando plane and the massive amount of wheelchairs boarding on the plane to Phoenix. Bless it) but it was perfect because it gave me extra time to use the bathroom again + eat a bagel.
We made it in time for dinner, In N Out, double double, no pickle or onion, extra sauce, fries animal style, with a coke, please! (no photos due to the ferocity with which my meal was devoured. Just use your imagination, In N Out lovers). And then it was back to my parents house! Abigail gets to enjoy TWO seahorses this week, because she refused to leave hers at home, and listening to them both playing music at the same time but not the same music is just bliss.
Sunday morning we got up and ready for church when I suddenly remembered, the full length mirror! Woohoo! It’s always nice to see how the whole ensemble is working out.
After church we went and had brunch at Chompie’s. It was fabulous. I got stuffed French toast and we all cheered as I was able to continue eating(and keeping it down). Thanks little baby!
Every night has looked like this. Night swim in the hot tub for Daddy and Abigail, fireside under a blanket with the tv on(probably watching Duggars because I’m binge watching them thanks to my Mom recording them for me and I have a legit obsession with that show) for me.
We’ve also roasted marshmallows in the fireplace, on wire hangers, in our pajamas every night. Now, if that isn’t winning, I’m not sure what is.

Ok so I was so confused for a second when you posted the picture of A with her cousins. I was all like "I didn't know you were bringing her to Europe with you" and "how come I didn't know you had family living in Europe?" Then I remembered that thanksgiving hasn't happened yet and you are going to Arizona.
And then I have no idea what fries animal style are.
what a great time! I enjoyed all the pictures – how DO you remember to take them all? I think i took 3 our whole weekend at my parents for an early Thanksgiving. Congrats on the little one. =)
What a fun vacation. I'm so glad you are feeling better. Lord knows nothing sucks worse than throwing up on a plane or even when you are supposed to be enjoying a vacation.
Blogspot doesn't like my post I guess… Long post short, if you get a chance hit Bol. Sean and I spent a week holed up there until our university session started in Prague. Croatia is my straight up favorite country in all of Europe.
