Mainly, trying to get as much sleep as we can- anytime and anywhere! We can’t complain too much, we have a major sweetness of a baby love, but she is still awake all hours of the night!
We got to spend so much time with my parents this last month. It was amazing! We hadn’t visited in person since Abigail and I traveled to Phoenix back in February, so it was wonderful to get so much time together. Abigail loves getting to play with her Pappy!
We made it to church for the first time when Mabel was two weeks old! She slept through most of the service and only ate once. We were even able to stay for Sunday School hour as well. Way to go, Mabes!
We had a brief spa day in our living room while watching the Berenstain Bears to freshen up our nails…
And Mabel and I made a solo trip to Target to pick up some laundry detergent….and also some Starbucks.
We’ve spent every morning in bed snuggling, nursing, cuddling, and selfie taking.
Abigail and I had a special morning out to Chick Fil A and Target, just us two. It was a huge turning point in her adjustment to little sister- I’ll try to write more about that sometime.
We can’t stop staring at this little one(in big sister’s hand me downs!)
I also can’t stop taking pictures of her.
The rock n play continues to be a godsend of a baby item. Seriously, if you’ve ever considered buying one- DO.
Oh, she’s also wearing the little dress Ashley sent her!
Basically, she never gets any attention around here. Poor neglected baby girl.
Sunday style! I can’t help myself. The girls look so cute all dressed up for church. I have to take their pictures together!
We went to a pool party. Abigail and Daddy swam and swam and swam some more. I fed Mabel, chugged water, and held her while she slept. Great night all around!
My morning scene. Barbies, play mats, and two cute girlies.
We have a park in our neighborhood that is just a few streets away, so on nice days? Picnic in the park!
This onesie is Abigail’s favorite. She always wants to put Mabel in it. Unfortunately, she won’t squeeze into it much longer!
Just that Mom nursing in the mini van in the mall parking lot while having your picture taken life.
Yeah, June! Finally getting hot enough out to go play at the splash pad!
Have I mentioned how much we loved having Grammy here? Because it was the greatest thing ever.
She’s so sweet, I can’t take it!
My Mimi came into town the weekend of Mabel’s baptism to meet her and visit with us. It was so special to have her here and to watch my Grandma be so involved with my girls! Beyond thankful for that.
This little girl is so loved by both of her Grandpa’s!
And big sister of course! She loves running into my room in the morning to ask how Mabel is doing and to give her some big sister lovin.
Before Grammy left Jim and I snuck in one last date night. We went out for sushi and wine and hello! IT WAS FABULOUS. Best date ever.
Lest you think we’re too fancy or normal or anything……
This last month has been one of the happiest I’ve ever had. Two girls, my mom, family, my husband. Lots of special outings and beautiful weather. We’re incredibly blessed and I’m so incredibly grateful!
