It is no secret that I love all things baby! Everything about it is so much fun to me. After waiting and waiting and waiting some more for Miss Mabel, I have been sure to soak up and savor every.single.little.bit of baby goodness that I absolutely can. And while I’ve been busy doing that, I’ve been keeping track of some of my most used and very favorite things!
Honestly, I tried to think up a bigger list, but I just couldn’t do it. Other than obvious things like “diapers” or “car seat” I really only use these few things day in and day out andddd all around the clock! So, here she blows.
My Seven Favorite Baby Items!
No surprise here- the Solly Baby Wrap!
This thing saved my skin more time than once during the sleepy newborn days. Mabel slept in the rock n play beside my bed every single night for about four months(until we moved her into her crib….beside my bed. heh) and she slept in it for every nap..annnd for her extended late night parties before we finally nipped those in the bud.
But yeah, it doesn’t do anything particularly special. I have always thought the name is a bit deceptive because it doesn’t rock on it’s own as if it’s a swing or something. If you want it to rock you have to do it manually. But the way that it contours to baby’s body and props them upright a little, makes for one happy and snug little bambino.
Therefore, this was the only picture I could find of Mabel and her giraffe. You all know about Abigail and her “little baby seahorse”. Her lovey that goes everywhere with her and has been slept with since she was about six weeks old. Well, this giraffe is the exact same thing, just a different animal.
It plays the same music and lights up just the same, but it makes it so the girls have completely distinctive and different loveys.
This bad boy is a new addition to the list, since Mabel just got it for Christmas. But, so far, we LOVE this high chair. With Abigail, we had a “space saver” high chair. And after using it for a while, I was kind of confused as to how it was saving me space? It took up one of my kitchen chairs and was big enough that I couldn’t even push that chair in under the table. Plus, fabric cover? Noooo.
I’m loving how you can change the heights on this seat, it is easy to wipe down completely, and HELLO it is on wheels, so you can easily roll it around anywhere you need it to go.
I was going to get the pink insert instead, but it came with orange and it color coordinates with her beloved paci so much, that I don’t think I’ll ever change it.
And there you have it! Our seven most used and loved baby items in this house. What is on your list?
