There are all sorts of ways for children to learn and lots of different ways that children learn best. One of the greatest things about homeschooling for me has been watching and discovering the ways that Abigail learns the most. And not only that, but the ability for me to hand select a 1st grade homeschool curriculum to give her an education with a variety of different styles!
Whether that be through listening to CD’s and engaging her auditory side, showing her step by step instructions and images to help engage her visual side, or by letting her use something fun like Bunchems Alive to stoke her kinesthetic side!
I recently shared about starting 1st grade with Abigail this year, but I didn’t really delve into the 1st grade homeschool curriculum that we are using. So I thought it would be fun to share some ways that she is learning and growing this year in Spena School today!
And when we’re ready for a fun break from book work, Bunchems is a great way to keep learning and growing Abigail’s creativity! (Psst! Bunchems Alive was awarded the 2016 Toy of the Year Award for Activities!)
There are so many fun ways to use Bunchems, you can squish, connect and create! And with new Bunchems Alive, the motorized Stick’em Ball brings your creation to life. You can put it down and watch it go!
But before you do that, make sure that all hair is pulled back and away from your child’s face! For the best Bunchems experience, be sure to play on a hard surface to avoid any sort of entanglement. You can check out the Bunchems safety video right here: http://clvr.li/2byXtsH
Bunchems are colorful little balls that stick to each other and build like no other. Clean up is an absolute breeze because they stick to each other!
The possibilities are absolutely limitless with Bunchems because they stick and stay, then pull apart easily for reimagined creations! Abigail has had so much fun coming up with endless configurations, creatures, patterns, and stories.
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of CLEVER and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
