September 9, 2016
Well hey there.
I’m still here. We’re all still here.
This has been the weirdest season for me in the almost five(five, say what??) years that I have been blogging.
Blogging has been my free therapy, my outlet, my way to express my thoughts and feelings and to share with others about my faith and my life and how all of that works together.
But not in this particular season.
I’m sorry if you saw a new post notification show up in your feed/inbox/whatever and you got excited for a detailed life update. I can’t give you that. And honestly, probably never really will. (Of course, I hear that you’re supposed to “never say never”)
My schedule has been so strange and has knocked my blogging schedule all out of whack. With a month in Phoenix without my laptop, 10 days in Florida on vacation, starting homeschooling up again, and all sorts of other things, the days on the calendar have just been whizzing by and here I am two weeks since I last wrote a new post.
Gosh, anyway, I don’t really know where I’m going with any of this but to just say that I’m still going to be just as real as I always am, when it comes to myself, and my girls, and our life, but there are certain things that are just currently off limits and so that has thrown a kink in my usual groove and happy self.
BUT, we are home in Joplin now for the very long foreseeable future and I hope to really find time to share some great stuff with you over the next few weeks. I have a calendar full of post draft ideas and things to write about, it’s just finding that ever elusive time to do it!
So, with that grand introduction, here are some things I have to share with you on this fine Friday in September(September, say what?? what year is it??)
While I was in Arizona I shared this post about CaseApp and how much I love the new phone case they sent me!
Well folks, they did it again! And you know I just HAD to get a case with a photo of my pretty girlies on it.
There is something I just love about this picture! I love both girls faces and how girly and light the entire thing is. It makes me so happy and I love having it on my phone.
Next up is possibly the saddest thing ever(not really) (but REALLY)
In mid August Randi from Sweet Sea Co. contacted me and asked if I would be interested in selecting something from their website for the girls to wear. I instantly zeroed in on these GORGEOUS swimsuits- I mean HELLO! and matching?! We were headed to Destin and I knew these would be so fun to promote while we were there.
But then horror of horrors. They didn’t arrive before we left! SOB! I’m still so sad over this.
Can’t you just see my girls frolicking around on the beach in these matching swimsuits?! GAH! Anyway, now I’m totally crossing all of my crossables that they will still fit when we go to my parents house for Christmas. Because being in a hot tub on Christmas Day is my happy place.
Anyway, be sure to check out the awesome Sweet Sea Co. for yourself. They have women’s clothing, accessories, swimsuits, and shoes and it is all ADORABLE. Be sure to also follow them on Instagram for new items and specials!
And that’s all I have for you guys this week. Thanks for hanging in there with me! Be sure to come back next week as I have some fun posts planned- including a 1st grade Abigail homeschooling update 🙂 Have a great weekend!
