She is in SUCH a fun and interactive stage right now. She is having a verbal explosion(I’m hoping to write up a 19 month update next week!) and she is all over the place. She loves to do everything big sister and I are doing and she can usually keep up pretty well!
I’m so excited for her first Christmas to really get into opening gifts and playing with new toys. I think it is going to be SO much fun having a 6 year old and a 1.5 year old to celebrate with 🙂
So with that being said, I’ve put together a little list of things that would be fun for her to get(and a few things that I know she is already getting!)
A few things of note: Jim and I got her the roller coaster(which is massive and hilarious and we absolutely can NOT wait to bust that thing out in our backyard with her) and my parents got her her very own PBK chair(which is a very big deal- I can’t wait for them to each have their own!)
I put clothes, shoes and bows on here because I’m nothing if not practical! She is growing like a weed and new things to wear until spring would be great (Size 2T and size 6 shoes!) I recently discovered Noell + Jane shortly before our family photos and I just fell in LOVE with her sailor style bows. She has large sizes that work amazing for Abigail and mini sizes that are just so dang sweet on Mabel’s head. I’m kinda obsessed with them and like….every fabric/color choice.
As far as the toys go, I can see her loving and enjoying every single item on this list. The girls love to play in the play kitchen together with the play food so I think that the cash register, pretend food, and the pretend appliances(that actually move!) would be so much fun for them both actually!
And lastly, Mabel is trying to be my craft girl just like big sis. She loves to color and she LOVES play doh. She already knows how to open the lids and bang on the table for it to come out. It’s a pretty cool party trick. Unfortunately, she doesn’t know how to put it away yet, so I usually find lumps of dried play doh all around the house a few days later. Hence, it needing to be added to the Christmas wish list.
