1. This is me right now, too. Sit down to write something and I’m completely blank! hoping it passes but until then I’ll continue binging on Stranger Things and OITNB. 😉

  2. Amanda says:

I’ll have to try really hard to not be jealous of your 2-week vacation plus four days straight in pajamas with your girls. If that’s not a good reason to not have anything to blog about, I’m not sure what is. Sounds awesome! I wouldn’t feel too bad. I’m sad I didn’t know about the DA marathon on PBS or I would have tried to watch some of it!

  3. Mom says:

Enjoy those days, you’re going to blink and they’ll be gone! So very proud of my creative, gifted, beautiful daughter and her blog but more importantly the selfless investment in her precious family. Love you more than you know!

  4. Cinny says:

I love your blog the way it is! It is one of my favorites to read because I don’t feel like the content is as forced as other blogs have become. New content typically means, “sponsored posts”. And to be clear, there is nothing wrong with sponsored posts…I just don’t want to read a sponsored post every day.

  5. kristen says:

i’m jealous of your 4 days in pjs! i also wear sweats and tshirts to bed. super fashionable and cute.

  6. Jamie says:

Ha, I could’ve written this. I’m fresh out of ideas and kinda lacking in motivation 😛
I saw your IG story about Mabel drinking the water and cracked up! She’s so funny. Also, that photo of both girls in their chairs is golden 🙂

  7. Vanessa says:

I think a Downton marathon is always a great choice!!! I like reading about you and your spawn though!! 🙂

  8. brittany says:

oh i love this so much!!! and i have always thought it was odd that some people are so drawn to blogging about blogging, because i am not. i am definitely more like you in my approach… i share, document, chat… discussing strategy not so much?! but now that blogging is like, a small part of the biggg world of social media, i guess that kind of makes it more normal to discuss it? i dunno. but. january is so slumpish to me too!!

  9. Bethany says:

Don’t change a thing! I’ve had my heart broken over many a blogger who turned too business-y or too sponsor happy and I miss their everyday, this is our family, we ate cereal for dinner posts. I love what you do.

  10. Jessica says:

Umm if there is something wrong with staying in your Pajamas for four days I don’t want to be right. I see nothing wrong with it. I’m in a slump too. I had so much to share in December and am now a bit stuck. ?

  11. Desiree says:

I am right there with you on content. I want to blog… but… there’s nothing remarkable or note worthy to put together a decent post.
Also. If you branch out and get pajamas, let me know if you find anything you love. I’ve worn the same mesh shorts and t-shirts for about 10 years…. I also find that I’d rather spend money on clothes (and bows) for the kids than any fancy, real adult pajamas.

  12. Kelsey says:

This post just spoke to me. I’ve been in such a slump with all kinds of big goals for reviving my blog withe new year and just totally blanking. Thank you for keeping it real. I look forward to etting to know you!

  13. Elizabeth says:

I buy Mason ALL the cute pajamas and myself… I wear whatever random pants I’ve bought at Target or Old Navy and some random old t-shirt. Very uncute. If you find some cute pajamas, you have to share!

  14. Laura Keenan says:

Your blog needs more Mabel lounging photos. A post of all those would be fabulous!

  15. I think it’s such a gift for kids to be able to stay home in their pjs and just relax. Everyone seems so busy and rushed these days that it’s nice to be able to provide calm and chill time for your family. You’re such a great mama!

  16. So what’s wrong with staying in PJ’s for 4 days? hehe…And do those donut pj’s come in adult sizes, hehe 🙂 Whatever you come up with, I’m sure it will be great!

  17. Ashley Dorey says:

I’ve been in the same slump but we’re just enjoying life–and pajamas! 😉

  18. Jennifer says:

Ha, I totally feel ya! Ben has had the stomach flu for FIVE days in a row. Poor little buddy. And, that means I have hardly left the house. Plus it has been cold. I know how it goes. It looks like you guys are having fun though in the meantime 🙂

  19. Crystal says:

I enjoy reading about you and your spawn. 😉 I am pretty sure there were days during our Christmas break where Mason and I were in pajamas for days on end! In fact, I know there were. And oh how I miss those days already. ha. Would you believe that I have never seen one episode of Downtown Abbey? Do I need to change that?

  20. Ivory says:

A Downton Abby Marathon, sounds so wonderful. I love that show. I love your blog to. Keep up the great post you do.
