On Tuesday, the girls and I had a chance to try out a new(to us) local restaurant to celebrate a little friends 6th birthday!
Just past the hospital where Mabel was born(and where Finn will be!) ((and apparently, where our pediatrician’s office is now going to be located??)) is this adorable little train car turned restaurant and ice cream place.
They have this cute little train car there and they give the kids train tickets and rides around their little track in front of the place.
And they have this old mail car that you can eat inside! (Which we did!)
Funny story: they have a sandbox in the center of where the train drives around that the girls played in while we waited for our food to be ready. Come to think of it, Mabel has never played in a sandbox before, so she was basically in HEAVEN over it.
When we got home, I was using the bathroom and heard her saying over and over “oh no! house mess! house! mess!”
She had taken her boots off in my bedroom and there was literally an enormous sand pile from the inside of her pink boots LOL. Fortunately we got it all cleaned up, but I didn’t see that one coming! ha!
We had a yummy lunch of hot dogs, cheeseburgers, chips, and juice. And then washed it all down with delicious handmade ice cream!
Abigail chose chocolate ice cream(which she kindly shared with Mabel AND they kindly split evenly between two cups for the girls) and I had an espresso flavored ice cream that was SO good.
We had the best time and absolutely can not wait to go back! We have big plans to take Daddy…and Grammy and Pappy…..and to probably stop in every time we have a pediatrician appointment now…..that’ll certainly be a big perk! Ice cream after shots? Yes, please!
If you’re local, definitely check out All Aboard Ice Cream!
