Everybody is busy these days and we are all trying to find quick solutions to get important nutrients without having to sacrifice time, money, or quality!
Especially as a currently expecting Mama, 1) snacks are kind of the name of the game right now oh and 2) I guess it should occasionally be remotely healthy.
(It can’t all be Starbursts and ice cream, am I right or am I right?)
So anyway, here is a short list of my very favorite quick and easy snacks to keep on hand whenever that inevitable hunger strikes.
And the best part? They’re easy to take on the go as well!
Always a winner! I like to toss a handful of almonds and a few chocolate chips in a bowl, stick them in the freezer for a few minutes, and then enjoy a cold and indulgent treat.
I literally came home from the store recently with FIVE different kinds of cheeses. I don’t know how it happened but I fully blame Finn.
ANYWAY. Properly pair your cheese with your crackers for a healthy afternoon snack…and you’ll almost forget the perfectly paired wine that you can’t have.
I eat power bars whether I’m pregnant or not. I’m always the last to eat(busy feeding two other people first of course) so I get hangry and need something FAST. Power bars always help a mama out. You can’t go wrong with this snack item!
Keep a few in your purse/diaper bag too- trust me.
