It’s so hard to believe, but my sweet Abigail is going to be 7 years old on the 5th! As every parent always says, where did the time go?
I know we aren’t to the pre-teen years yet, but I’m already starting to see glimmers and glimpses of the friction between wanting to be a little girl(and bring her seahorse along to places still) and wanting to be a grown up(wanting to wear makeup and carry a purse and begging for a cell phone)
It is so fun watching her think up and put together her wish lists for her birthday and Santa- it gives me a little peek into who she is, what she loves, and where her interests currently lie.
She is such a sweet, sensitive, thoughtful little girl and I am so enjoying every bit of her as she grows up.
So, if you have a 7 year old little girl in your life that you need to buy a gift for(or if you’re family and you’re reading this!) here is Abigail’s 7th birthday wish list.

Like I said, a total blend of wanting to grow up and wanting to stay little.
She has a cross body style purse and she says that it bothers her when it hits her hip as she walks, so she wants a purse big enough to hold all of her things (which are??) and she wants it to have a short handle that she can carry with her hand instead.
She also specifically requested more twirly dresses( I definitely got her this purple one) and she already had the black version of these boots, but once again, specifically requested the brown version as well(so I ordered her those too!)
All of the other items are fun things that she has seen and requested.
And lest you think we’re too fancy over here, yes- we have looked through the Farts book. And yes, it is kind of towards the top of her wish list.
We are so excited to celebrate our special girl. We will be in Kansas City on her actual birthday, so she will get to celebrate with her grandparents! And then the following weekend she will get to have her friend birthday party that she is so excited about!
We sure love our almost 7 year old girly!

Such a special year, like you said, between girl and adult. The ULTA pallet is already not available ;-( it looked super pretty and we just got an ULTA
