If we were having coffee together, I would (obviously) be having a vanilla latte and would have all sorts of fun and random things to share with you about our life right now.
First, I would probably tell you all about how my Pa gave us his red pickup truck and how sweet and special that is to me. And how Jim picked it up (after all sorts of airport and airplane drama) and brought it back home to Missouri from Florida last weekend. Then, I’d tell you how someone slashed it’s tires this weekend. For no apparent reason.
Then I’d probably tell you about how I am FINALLY reading this book and we’d talk about how fun she seems and how fantastic Gilmore Girls was/is and how happy we are that Milo has moved on to greener This Is Us pastures because obviously we would talk about all of the shows we are currently watching:
And while we’re talking about clothes, I’d tell you how I finally signed up for Stitch Fix style pass! They let me pay $49 for an entire year of as many fixes as I want! Typically, you pay $20 a fix (which is then applied to any item you keep) but now I don’t have to pay that fee anymore. woohoo! I just got my first style pass fix last week and didn’t have time to blog about it, but I shared all of my pieces on my Instagram stories! It was a lot of fun, so I may have to do more of that in the future. And seeing as I will be getting many, many more fixes, it looks like I will get to!
Because of this riveting conversation, I would have you convinced that you want to try Stitch Fix yourself, and I’d hook my girl up with a sweet referral code that gets you your very first Stitch Fix box completely FREE- like this one!
I’d also tell you how we’ve been using Hello Fresh every week since the beginning of January and absolutely love it. It’s not for everyone, but for right now? We JUST LOVE IT. We love trying the new recipes and ingredients, we love how healthy they are, how they keep us from eating out and keep us cooking at home together. We love not needing to buy as much at the grocery store, and we love how our leftover game has improved significantly. Then, I’d tell you that I’ll email you a link to get $40 off your first Hello Fresh box (but since we’re talking now, I’ll give it to you right here instead!)
And of course, lastly(or mostly), we’d talk about our kids. I’d tell you how I’ve been shopping for Finn’s 1st Easter outfit and have been buying up his spring and summer wardrobe and that the cuteness factor is absolutely killing me. KILLING ME. (I grabbed him these shoes, these pants, this jacket, and this baseball tee. I die!)
And then, OF COURSE, I would spend a huge chunk of time telling you all about my sweet, sweet little girls.
How we have dance parties to The Greatest Showman soundtrack every single day(and how Mabel SWEARS that he says “the preacher in the pooper” during The Greatest Show intro) and have been super into watching the My Little Pony movie. Playing food time/restaurant/picnic and going on “adventures” in the basement(Mabel makes us go down in the dark with flashlights). We listen to weeks 14 and 17 of our Classical Conversations CD over and over and over again because Mabel wants to sing about the tycoons and they both love the “sad song” from week 17(it’s about the Lusitania). How they can eat an entire cantaloupe in a day, and how ready for summer we all are!
And at this point, we’ve probably finished our coffee and will promise each other that we totally need to do this again sometime soon. Okay?
