I second the Wet Brush! It’s the only brush we all use. I actually shared it in my favorite beauty product roundup today!

Soooo I have curly hair and can attest to your recs lol I never brush my hair and have become the expert in finger combing.

I have curly hair and can say that you are not alone in not being the best at handling curly hair. I quickly learned when I could find a stylist that did it well, to not leave or try another. Curly hair is just a beast all of its own.

I’m sure it might make you crazy, but you should try not brushing Mabel’s curls, even when wet. If you have to have something to run through her hair, try a very wide tooth comb [those really big fat ones] instead. Brushing curly hair, even when wet isn’t good for the curls. Then after using that wide tooth comb on her wet hair, scrunch a little product in he hair. And don’t use a regular towel on her hair either, it can create a lot more frizz – a microfiber towel or an old t-shirt is best, and then just scrunch her hair with the microfiber towel or shirt. I’d love to know what her hair looks like after a week or so of trying those out. Oh, also washing every day isn’t great for it either. So, maybe I got a little carried away… what can I say? I have curly hair and have learned over the course of my life how to manage the curls best 😉

To control my curls I typically put my hair in braids or a top knot at night and then beautiful not friZy curls in the morning. I also use Aussie mousses and hairsprays and they work great WOTH my curls, not against.
