This time of the year with little ones is absolutely magical, isn’t it? Seeing their faces light up at the idea of Santa, decorations, and gifts under the tree. Watching them dance around the house to our family’s favorite Christmas music and wiping crumbs off of their faces (and my floors!!) after a Christmas cookie baking session.
Matching pajamas, family pictures, snuggles on the couch, decorating the house, writing letters to Santa, drinking hot cocoa. All of it adds up to precious days, memories, and moments that we will never take for granted.
Getting to spend this time of year together is a gift that words fail to fully express. Praying, wishing, hoping, and waiting for these three precious little lives (many a Christmas season was spent in tears, because of the pain of the wait) to be here- exactly like this, is just, an absolute gift. To have them here, in our home, every day, we are so thankful.
But not every family has the ability to celebrate Christmas together in their home this year- that’s why, I am enthusiastically teaming up with Ronald McDonald House this season to give families with sick children the most precious gifts of all: joy, courage, comfort, strength and togetherness.
This holiday season, your donation to the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room programs will provide places for families to stay just steps from the hospitals where their children are receiving critical medical care.
We all know the importance of family togetherness, which is why donating to RMHC is so imperative to supporting families when they need it the most.
